MC Mong charged with dodging military duty
Mc Mong, Korean singer, has been overwhelmed by military conscricuption corruption. When I heard Mc mong's news at first , I couldn't belive this case because Mc mong was one of my favorite singer for many yaers
He insists that he didn't pull out his teeth for exemption from military service. However, there is an argument that it was his intention, so the police has started an investigation on it.
Also, Seoul Police accused MC Mong，a singer-comedian， of having had healthy teeth extracted to be disqualified for military service in 2007 after getting his induction postponed for seven years on false reasons. Police also booked 11 popular break-dancers on suspicion of having purposely injured their shoulders by excessive training to evade military service.
I think it is understandable that popular entertainers would be reluctant to spend two years of their prime in barracks. BUT!!!!,breaking the law by damaging their own bodies represents extreme moral decadence.
How do you think about Mc Mong's behavior? Can you understand his truth?
To be honestly, I guess Mc Mong has done something wrong to citizens. so, to solve the problem like this, TV networks are urged to establish a joint oversight system to check for shady backgrounds and unhealthy lifestyles among their entertainers to prevent the appearance of individuals with bad reputations. They also need to take prompt actions whenever wrongdoings are exposed.

Yes.. I also think he has done something wrong. Even though he really don't want to enter the military, it doesn't seem right.
ReplyDeleteA lot of privileged Koreans want to take advantage of everything good from their country, but don't want to give anything in return. 'Psi' had some issues like this before, but now he is popular again. It's not my country, so if Koreans want to forgive these kinds of people, that is their right. But if I were a Korean male who had to give up 2 years for the military, I would be angry at everyone who finds a way to avoid it just because they are rich or famous.
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to hear that. But, I think his bahavior is incorrect. He acted on he sidelines on the issue. Whether he has fault or not, he would have apologized to the public.

hmmmm This case is still ongoing. right? He still insists that he didn't pull out his teeth on purpose.. and he also argued that he was inoccent and didn't do anything wrong to avoid a duty of military on his mini homepage. But there are still questionable things ramained. :/ I sometimes say to my male friends that go back to military and learn more!! and be man! half in jest, but I know it's like hell for them to go back there, so I can kind of understand how much he wanted to escape from the reality when he was in the prime of his life. However, this is the same for every man, so he shouldn't be an exception only because he is famous -jiwon
ReplyDeleteHum.. I like MC Mong. I read an article he asked on Naver intellect that how many teeth need to pull off if a person doesn’t want to go to the army. Haha I was so laughed as thinking that how dumb he was. Korean men have to join army but many privilege classes use their money or force and dodging the draft. How wonderful Korea is.(??) People who only have money can control the world? It’s miserable.. I know MC Mong was poor enough in the past, when he became a famous Star, he was worried about what if I join the military the famous will be disappeared. I kind of can understand what his thinking was.. Just now I want him to make untruth and do his obligation. Anyway I like MC mong though.

All Right!!!^. ^ “I know many Korean men don’t want to go the army and feel so lonely all the time. By law, Korean men are required to serve about two years in the military. Even so, why do many Korean men want to avoid this situation? To be honestly, Men who are famous or rich like Mc Mong want to give up their present. I'm sorry about this news. Korea men are must has to do thier militery service. but mc-mong is suspected as a slacker. I liked mc mong. I thought he was very funny and honest person, but I'm very disappointed him. if he to do his militery service, after he done millitery service he become more popular. but now he don't do anything. maybe it is hard to he come back. I wish no happen this things anymore.

People have to obey our laws even you doesn't want to do it. If he pull out his teeth for his military problems, He can't say anything about his moral. However, I understand his feeling why he did because there is not option to Korean Man. I understand his feeling but he have to obey the laws. I'm sorry to hear that- A Ryeon

T_T This wiriting is really ture. so, I think that He must be punished because His actions was not in accordance with obligatory military service.He is a very capable person as singer.
