Ban on corporal punishment in Korea school

Is corporal punishment “the stick of love” or "another form of child abuse"?

These days, I have often access to school corporal punishment through media. There are manydifferent ideas about punishment. I sometimes think about this issue like "Is it necessary for them to use punishment in school? Or, does the punishment have a bad influence on students?"
Do you know Korea joins recently in a global trend toward banning corporal punishment of student? Corporal punishment is now banned in all schools in Seoul under revised regulation. With many teachers facing difficulty controlling students following the ban on corporal punishment, the Seoul education office came out with a guidebook on how to deal with unruly students.
In Korea, corporal punishment has long been in practice despite many negative effects.

How do you think if you were a teacher in Korea? I hear friction between students and a teacher in Korea school two days ago. I couldn’t’ believe How students can hit the teacher on the head?! I am sometimes shocked by teenagers’ improper conduct in school. From this month, teachers in Seoul are unable to hit students, to ask them to hold both of their hands out and to run laps around the playground as disciplinary punishment. Also. A Seoul teacher reportedly encountered embarrassment when he gave a warning to a student who was smoking. A class disturber threatened to report the teacher to police for alleged bullying. A teacher received an angry reaction from a parent, while consulting about the wayward behavior of the student. Schools need to devise ways of keeping discipline among students without the use of corporal punishment.
I believe punishment is necessary to us. Because teenagers are still young. Teenagers are not able to distinguish whether it’s right or wrong yet. Therefore teachers are thinking about punishment to correct us as general way. Of course I dislike punishment. Specially, I never face to teacher who is crazy about to strike students and carried away by his emotions. However, who made him like that? It’s us!! As a result, we should not simply think about the punishment as violence but teachers shall be looked as angels if we trust them that they correct and growth more of our general ideas and mind. first of all , I think that it will take considerable time to balance the pros and cons regarding whether corporal punishment is to be fully abolished or partially retained. It is high time that we made a sensible choice for next generation.
I am expected to share your opinions about current issue

North Korea and South Korea Exchange dozens of Artillery shells

Artillery shells fell on Yeonpyeong Island

North Korea and Shouth Korea Exchange dozens of Artillery shells.

North Korea attacks South Korea. Both countries struggled for the second times this year. It seems like North Korea tries to escalate into a war. Two South Korean marines and two citizens, who lived on Yeonpyeong Island, were killed Because of artilleries which are shot by North Korea on Tuesday afternoon. About 800 residents who live on Island escaped from the island to Inchon by ships with astonished heart and worried about remaining family. One resident said “I was thinking that bump sound is just for shooting training. However after the sound, windows were broken and the electric failed and so I took shelter. It was like in hell.” I was so surprised when I heard the accident from my friend and I just said to him “Oh no cut the crap!!” but, it was real. It’s a nightmare!! What happened? Why does North Korea attack South Korea?

Focus on one reason, South and North Korea had positive relationship for decay. However, their relationship has become a cold war diplomacy after changing of the government. Supporting amount of the money and food to North Korea has been reduced since 2008. Because of it! North Korea asks for extending these relieves but S.K against of the claim, food add. For long term, N.K has struggled with poverty although S.K supported. Now it is serious in N.K the food shortage and N.K is dubiousness their policy and everything. Many things are changed and there is a internal rebellion passing Kim jong il’s power to his son, Kim jung-eun.

The things make me angrier are N.K announced that S.K attracted them first that’s why they took action!! What’s going on here? They always avoid or shift responsibility. Huh...(I’m sad I don’t know military system well, I can’t explain well)
I don’t want to see anymore gruesome scene and no more scapegoats. I hope S.K and N.K will not start any struggle. I am freighted with.. I think N.K MUST apologize to S.K. also NO WAR~!!

By the way, there is a debate going on! How to response to North Korea? What is your opinion?

Also, what do you think of action of N.K? Let’s share your opinion.

Thanks for reading :3 Have a good day~!

Gambling

Gambling

Are you interested in gambling such as Go-stop, Black jack and poker or have you ever tried gambling? Do you usually buy every week’s lottery tickets? Do you believe that a fantastic betting or numbers can change your whole life as helping to become a millenarian?

Today I want to talk about an addition to gambling (the topic of last week and this week tend to serious;;;haha I am not such a serious person;;,) You know Shin Jung-hwan who is a Korea singer, also a comedian or entertainer with a bigmouth :). But, he becomes an offshore gambling addiction and so now he has debts approximated $25 billion in Cebu, the Philippines. He can’t come back to Korea because he couldn’t pay back money borrowed from Casino as he lost all money he borrowed; the additional fees are about 2 billion I can’t imagine how he can gambling with such a huge amount of money which makes my hands shacking.

I wonder how he will go to pay all the money; of course it became a large amount of money and seems too much money to pay back. Because of the gambling debts, he lost everything such as his fan, job, money, and property he has earned.
I saw an article says that Sin Jung-hwan will be able to return to Korea. He is deeply ashamed to people that’s why he couldn’t come back, but he is too sick with his leg which was injured by a car accident he needs to come back to Korea in order to care his leg. No doubts with his blameful behavior, it is definitely not able to avoid legal steps that he has frightened.

There are many people who are gambling addiction. Few years ago, gambling was prevalent. The gambling place called “Story of the Sea (Bada story)” it was extremely hot issue as there were a lot of people had gambling addiction and lost a lot of money. The place was disappeared (may not, I am not sure) but, there are still people who have a gambling addiction like Sin Jung-hwan. Some people believe they can change their lives with winning money though the chance of winning the game is as low as people known. Yes, there is some lucky girl existing but not all of them.Gambling addiction is one of the serious social problems as not only Sin Jung-hawn but many entertainer and people are involved.

I don’t believe an overnight millionaire means those who earn the money without any effort. What do you think of the gambling and the Sin Jung-hawn event? Do you believe an overnight millionaire?:3 thanks for reading my post :)

Park Tae-hwan's good news

Park Tae-hwan finished the Asian Games
in Guangzhou with 7medals

I couldn’t believe when I heard the news that Park Tae-hwan added two silvers to end his second Asian with seven medals at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, china on Thursday. He has also won three gold medals. You know, Park Tae-hwan is called “Marine Boy”. When I saw his swimming competition on TV, I felt exciting, touching and surprising by his swimming. On the sixth day of the sporting event Wednesday, South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan edged out China’s Lu Zhi Wu to win another gold medal in the men's 100-meter freestyle event after coming in first with a time of 48-point-70 seconds. I am really impressed with what he can do.♥
Anyway, while watching his competition on TV, I am already sure that he will be winner because of his excellent swimming. Park earlier grabbed gold medals in the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events. This is the second consecutive Asian Games where Park won three gold medals.

When I saw park Tae-hwan unfolds Korea’s national flag after winning the gold medal in the men’s 400m freestyle at the Guangzhou Asian Games on Tuesday, I was SO SO proud of him. Freestyle has long been a high wall for Asians to climb over. I know it is not easy to swim quickly for a long time.
Park’s Australian coach Michael Bohi said Park does not need the performance enhancing swimsuits thanks to his physical strength and superb ability.
I think Park has good body and great muscles for swimming. ( How wonderful he is! oh my goodness!! ) I was moved to admiration by his body and overwhelmed by his skills. I think Park has a strong chance of winning his second Asian Games MVP award. Do you remember Doha games four years ago? When I was a high student. I saw firstly him at the Doha games four years ago on TV. While still a sophomore in high school, he became the first Korean to win the top athlete’s prize. At that time, I also felt that he has special ability as swimming than other players. The foreign press in Doha voted Park MVP by an overwhelming margin over a Chinese gymnast who one more gold!!!
I am sure that no one can beat his in swimming!!

First of all, as soon as park Tae-hwan dove into the water, it became obvious that he had done a lot of swimming!! This is SO SO unexpected!!!
" Anyway, I bet how wonderful his life is going to be ^*^ "

Let's share your opinions like that :
1.When you heard his news at first , what did you really feel like?
2.Are you good at swimming like him ? ^^
3.Have you still wathched the Asian Games in Guangzhou to cheer up players??
Thanks for reading my article !

Tomorrow(November, 18th) is college scholastic ability test(CSAT)!

Tomorrow is college scholastic ability test. And today is an orientation day for the college scholastic ability test. This time is very important because they has been studying very hard for the past 12 years.(6 years of elementary school and 3 years each for middle and high school.) But, it will all be gone tomorrow.

There is intense competition to enter the prestigious universities in Korea. In fact, when I was student, I felt stressed about grade and I sometimes have a headache.
And also, I was always told "Live and breathe studying as long as you are a student."

Parents wanted to be a great person. So, they told me "study hard, study hard"
Oh, no! STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! I was very stressed!
Of course, it is no easy task looking after a child who is a senior in high school.
So students will continue to take private lessons because they will have to get higher grades at school, instead of higher scores on the College Scholastic Ability Test. Private lessons are also a hot topic in today's modern, but, I don't think we can solve this problem.

A recently conducted survey show how hard it is to do so, sine 80 percent of Korea seniors are finding it difficult to concentrate on their studies while 53 percent feel frustrated and anxious.
During exams, students concentrate hard on answering the questions. Concentration increasing foods may also be helpful. For example, broccoli, fish, nuts, beans, egg, green vegetables, beef, grains, brown rice, spinach and soybean.. and so on..
Good food and enough sleep are necessary to good health.

AND,

Test-takers, everybody, GOOD LUCK:)

Royal wedding.♥

Did you see a today’s news? I saw this news today morning in my home. Prince William, 28, will marry his longtime girlfriend next year. Her name is Kate Middleton. People call her “the second princes Diana” When I saw the news I’m very envy of her.

She is the daughter of commoner parents from Berkshire in southern England. She is the first commoner to marry a British royal prince since James II married Anne Hyde in 1660. Kate is a talent with intellectual appearance, outstanding in sports, music and other diverse fields during her school days.

They met first at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2001. And they started to date one year later. They have been going out for nearly nine years even though they had broken up two times.

William proposed during a holiday in Kenya last month. He gave her the oval blue sapphire surrounded by diamonds. The ring is the engagement ring of his mother. He thought the ring is very special and he didn’t want to forget his mother. I think his very romantic guy. Kate also said William is very romantic guy in an interview.

Royal officials announced that William will marry Middleton next spring or summer in London. And their wedding will be broadcast live. After the announcement, The British is in a festive mood. I’m very expected and looking forward to their wedding.

Addiction to Plastic Surgery (Seon pung gi a jum ma)

Addiction to Plastic Surgery

Do you know SEON PUNG GI A JUM MA? It means a nickname of a person who was an addiction to a plastic surgery. A few years ago, there was a big matter of the Seon pung gi woman who had a lot of plastic surgeries as well as the plastic surgery addiction. She did illegal plastic surgeries by herself as she put many shots of bean oil which is similar to "Botox" to her face. She became unbelievable woman whom people couldn’t recognize with her appearance of former face. An entertain program called “Suffering Cats” aired the appearance of Seon pung gi woman, many people was surprised with her face as she had no real person’s face its crawly.

Who is she? She was a singer in the past with a beautiful face, however, her greedy drove her being crazy about beauty as she wanted to be the most beautiful person in the world. She became an addiction to plastic surgeris but not now. After shown the side effects of plastic surgeries on the television, the program of Suffering Cats had observed helping her to be overcome the plastic surgery addiction and to be found her former face. She had fears of going outside as people looked her with strange eyes even being scared.

I felt sorry for her as thinking of what makes people being crazy of the appearance. it’s a Korea social problem that people like pretty people and so, many women even men want to have plastic surgeries even if they have enough charm looking (the problem is not only Korea but all the world, not sure, however, I think it is more serious in Korea to have plastic surgeries than)

I saw her pictures she has not changed to the far past of her face but a lot changed compared to the face aired on the television. Therefore, I am happy of her as she has no more plastic surgery addiction and having fear of meeting people.

What do you think about plastic surgery? I believe it can be help people who have no self-confidence of themselves. I saw many people who having plastic surgery have changed their own timid personalities to outgoing characters. On the other hand, people usually want more beauty after having plastic surgery without doubt it makes people have continuously re-plastic surgery. Also, it leads people to the plastic surgery addiction. Let’s share with your own idea about the plastic surgery.

Do you think it is necessary to have plastic surgery just to have self-esteem or getting more beauty?

Truth of MC Mong

MC Mong charged with dodging military duty

Mc Mong, Korean singer, has been overwhelmed by military conscricuption corruption. When I heard Mc mong's news at first , I couldn't belive this case because Mc mong was one of my favorite singer for many yaers
He insists that he didn't pull out his teeth for exemption from military service. However, there is an argument that it was his intention, so the police has started an investigation on it.
Also, Seoul Police accused MC Mong,a singer-comedian, of having had healthy teeth extracted to be disqualified for military service in 2007 after getting his induction postponed for seven years on false reasons. Police also booked 11 popular break-dancers on suspicion of having purposely injured their shoulders by excessive training to evade military service.
I think it is understandable that popular entertainers would be reluctant to spend two years of their prime in barracks. BUT!!!!,breaking the law by damaging their own bodies represents extreme moral decadence.
How do you think about Mc Mong's behavior? Can you understand his truth?
To be honestly, I guess Mc Mong has done something wrong to citizens. so, to solve the problem like this, TV networks are urged to establish a joint oversight system to check for shady backgrounds and unhealthy lifestyles among their entertainers to prevent the appearance of individuals with bad reputations. They also need to take prompt actions whenever wrongdoings are exposed.
" I wish this matter settled as soon as possible
Mc Mong should be sorry for himself~!!!!!!!!!!!! "

Girls' generation

Do you like girls’ generation? Nowadays, Korea’s pop group, Girls’ generation is sensationally popular in Japan. They also have a lot of fans here in Korea.

The Girls are getting press coverage outside the country. Because their presence of just two months in Japan is at the forefront of what is now being called the “second Korean wave”.
In the time since they debuted in Japan, the group’s popularity has risen along with their chart rankings in the country. “Gee,” the group’s second single, shot to No. 1 on Japan’s highly-trusted Oricon daily singles chart.

The group also made history for landing in the weekly “top 3 ranking” on the famous Japanese chart, something that hasn’t been done by a foreign female artist since 1980.

I didn’t expect they become popular in Japan. These days Korea Idol groups have advanced into many parts of the world. I hope they will be popular more and more.

Samsung GALAXY TAB!

Hot Issue! Samsung GALAXY Tab!

Do you know what a Tablet PC is? You may know or not. I will introduce the Tablet PC now~!:)

The tablet PC is a portable persional computer equipped with a touchscreen as a primary input device and designed to be operated and owned by personal. Unlike laptops, the tablet PC is not equipped with a Keyboard just can type with the touch screen similar to a touch cellular phone. All table PC have a wireless connection so, we can use internet every place with wirelesses.

Finished up the briefly explanation, I will introduce to you the SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB.

Actually, the first tablet pc is iPad from Apple it issued in U.S.A but Korea yet many Korean want to buy I Pad but they just need to wait until the ipad newly issued in Korea.

Good news for wating people the ipad! Samsung issues the GALAXY Tab with unbelievable price it coasts about $300 it's very cheap compared to iPad $500. I believe the price-compatitive of the Galaxy Tab is surcicable~!:) I read an critical article about the Galaxy tab that Steve jobs said that Galaxy tab is too small to use as a PC and too big to use as a Cellular phone!

But, Samsung said that the Galaxy tab is very light it's easy to carry outside and it provides Adobe freshes which is necessary for accessing internet image but the ipad has lack of function.
Do you like Galaxy tab or Ipad?
What can we do with the tablet PC?
Game, Navigation, eReading, Browser, augmented reality, so on..

Size : 7 inches (iPad 9 inches )

Weight : 350 g (iPad 700g)

Back 3M, Front 1.5M pixcels of Carmera
(Ipad has no camera, next generation will have camera)

Protable PC~!

Vidiotelephony for free!

I thinkg the strength in Galaxy tab is that it's small and light PC

Left Ipad, Right Galaxy tab

I haven't use both the ipad and galaxy tab it's difficult to say which one is the better just ipad is not yet issed in Korea but Galaxy tab does. The Galaxy tab user will be increased before the ipad will arrive in Korea. Some researcher said that Ipad is more popular in a tablet PC market so, it will be hardly challenge to be succeed whatever the tablet Pc issued.

Galaxy looks like imitation of Ipad but it also has strong merits,
actually the starter is Apple but the more upgrading skills have Samsung.

G20 SEOUL SUMMIT

Do you know well about G20? I don’t know exactly like you guys. But I know G20 is of great importance to us.
These days Korea is very busy to prepare a G20. Twenty world leaders will come together in Seoul on this November to discuss the global economy as it emerges from the financial crisis. It is scheduled for two nights one day. I think it is too short to discuss the global economy. But we should take the G20 for our big moment. If we will finish with good success the G20, that will be enhance Korea’s position. We can show clean street and traffic order as our mature civic awareness.
At the G20, They will visit to Korea over 10.000 people who not only heads of government from the twenty member countries also head of EU, entourage, reporters, and bodyguard. It will be having an effect on our economy. All the world will watch to Korea with interest.
I’m very expected this summitry. I hope it ended without any misadventure.
