Do you like girls’ generation? Nowadays, Korea’s pop group, Girls’ generation is sensationally popular in Japan. They also have a lot of fans here in Korea.
The Girls are getting press coverage outside the country. Because their presence of just two months in Japan is at the forefront of what is now being called the “second Korean wave”.
In the time since they debuted in Japan, the group’s popularity has risen along with their chart rankings in the country. “Gee,” the group’s second single, shot to No. 1 on Japan’s highly-trusted Oricon daily singles chart.
The group also made history for landing in the weekly “top 3 ranking” on the famous Japanese chart, something that hasn’t been done by a foreign female artist since 1980.
I didn’t expect they become popular in Japan. These days Korea Idol groups have advanced into many parts of the world. I hope they will be popular more and more.
Oh! I like Girls' Generation. Girls' Generation is also famous in Korea. The girls topped all charts in Korea. Especially, when girls' generation returned in 2009 with the song "Gee", I like the best time!

Japan's newest trend...studying korean. This is big issue in korea.You know, Despite a history of war between two cultures, it's not hip to be korean in japan. After years of Japanese prejudice against all things Korean, the country’s youth are now embracing Korea’s style. I think this news made me very happy, great and proud ^. ^♥♥♥
I'm sure they are showing that the korea
wave is not a flash in the pan.

Woa.... Are they that famous in Japan already? Ranked in top 3? that's something! I heard KARA was also very popular there.. and they ranked in 5th on Orikon chart :D I am happy to see this second Korean wave but I hope Idols in Korea prepare enough and build their ability and then debut when they are good enough as a singer or actors. Cause they are representatives of Korea :)

But Korean idols including Girl's generation, are getting popular not only in Korea, but also in other foreign countries and it makes me happy. Generally, most of the idol members are in my age. I think they're making great success though they're young. I wish more and more Korean singers would be famous like Hollywood stars.

From our country, a Korean pretty group called girls generation has became a famous singer in Japan I am so happy to hear that news :) I like the song “Gee” haha pretty girls and good performance with the song, no doubt they’ve became a famous group. I hope many young and old Japanese like Korean group~!! and they can keep their popularity going :) Good news I am proud of them :)
